In this post I want to introduce my new premium handfasting cords, now available on my Etsy shop. I want to highlight the features that make them special so that you can be as informed as possible about the care that goes into my cords at every stage, from selecting the materials, to construction and customisation. It can be tied in whichever way works best for you - whether placed on the hands and draped around them, or tied in an infinity knot during the ceremony. While it looks simple, striking and elegant, it is an intricate design that I take special care over - a true labour of love and a beautiful symbol of your commitment. It uses sustainable cotton cord and sustainably produced/recycled metallic rope. This metallic cord is only available in a very limited amount and once used up I cannot source more, meaning that each of these cords is unique to you and your love. The colours can be customised and the available metallic shades are

This Tie your own Infinity Hearts Entwined Celtic Love Knot has a custom centre signature: a wooden disk in the middle section of the cord into which the knot is tied. This can be inscribed with your names, the date of your ceremony, or a phrase that has special meaning for you. It also features a wide swatch of fabric that can be customised if you would like to include fabric from your wedding dress or a treasured memento. This design allows you to tie the knot in a way that can become a future heirloom, a beautiful testament to your connection with one another that can last through the years.
