Custom Handfasting Cord Designs
Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of designing and creating some incredible custom handfasting cord designs for our clients, including this Custom Colour Celtic 'Nine Knots' Handfasting Cord.
This custom Celtic cord is made up of nine knots, all of which represent either love or eternity. It also consists of six cords which have been tied, woven and braided into a continuous design of Celtic knots. In addition to choosing different colours, this cord can be customised by choosing different accents for the braided sides - This example has small leaves along a jute cord.

Bespoke Celtic Love-knot Handfasting Cord
An ancient tradition and a beautiful memento of the moment you tied the knot.

Bespoke Triple Celtic Love-Knot Handfasting Cord with Gold Leaves
This handfasting ribbon is truly special and hits the note between being a unique statement and simple elegance and sophistication. It consists of six slimmer cords (in the pictured example they are a white cream colour) and two thin green chiffon ribbons and thin gold cords each. In the middle, it features three celtic double-heart knots which symbolise love, eternity, and interconnectedness.
This ribbon can be made in whichever colour combination you like (a charge might be applied for colours which need to be dyed). Typically, the cord involves three colours (main cord, and two accent colours) but a greater variety of colours can be incorporated.
